B&V Carpet Service and Pest Control has expanded in the past few years to provide a full service for the supply and laying of new carpet and vinyl. This section of the business was formed due to demand from our clients as well as our vision to provide a “one stop shop” for all your carpet needs.

We can provide you with samples from all the leading manufacturers and a complete service including the removal and disposal of your existing carpet and the supply and installation of new carpet and underlay.

We can bring the samples to you so that you can choose the carpet to match your existing décor and furnishings. We will measure the areas for you. All you do is select the carpet; we’ll do the rest.

CARPET REPAIRS

Carpet repairs may be needed for many different reasons.

Carpet may have stretched causing creases and bumps. B&V Carpet Service and Pest Control can fix this problem by re-stretching the carpet. We can also repair a range of other common problems such as: holes, cigarette burns, iron burns, tears, split seams and stains that cannot be removed.

The method of repairing these problems is to cut out the affected areas and replace with a new section of carpet. The replacement carpet could be taken from a built in wardrobe or similar area or a new piece of carpet matched as close as possible to existing. It is always a good idea to keep some off cuts if you have new carpet laid so that they can be used if carpet needs to be repaired at a later date.

FLOOD AND FIRE CARPET RESTORATION

B&V Carpet Service and Pest Control offers a complete flood and fire restoration service.

Often floods are noticed after normal business hours when people arrive home from work to find a window left open during rain, a washing machine hose coming away form the tap etc. As we are a family operated business no matter what time of day or night we can be contacted for emergencies. · Dryer Hire to speed up the drying process

· Removal of wet underlay

· If carpet and underlay is unaffected we can relay, steam clean and treat for mould and bacteria

· Replace with new underlay, relay carpet, steam clean and treat for mould and bacteria

· Replace affected areas with new carpet and underlay

· We will advise at the time of inspecting the carpets on what action would be recommended.
